Tirupati / Devuni Kadapa, August 25, 2026: The Jeernoddharana Ashtabandhana Mahasamprokshanam rituals at the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Devuni Kadapa, are being conducted with devotion and according to Agama traditions.
As part of the rituals, Uttamottama Kalasa Snapanam was performed on Tuesday amid the chanting of Vedic mantras.
473 Sacred Kalasams Used for Abhishekam
A total of 473 sacred Kalasams were consecrated with holy water, which was then used for the ceremonial Abhishekam of the presiding deity.
The priests performed the ritual praying for the sanctity and divine power of the temple to increase and for the blessings of Lord Srinivasa to be bestowed upon all devotees.
Earlier, Chatussthanarchana, Murthi Homam and Ashtabandhanam were performed as per Agama traditions.
In the evening, Shayyadhivasam, Tattva Homams, Shanti Homam and Sattumora will be conducted.
Maha Samprokshanam on August 26
On August 26, Chatussthanarchana, Murthi Homam and Prayashchitta Homam will be performed from 7 AM.
The Maha Poornahuti, Mahasamprokshanam and Kalakarshanam will be conducted from 9:45 AM to 11:30 AM during the auspicious Shravana Nakshatram and Tula Lagnam.
Darshan After Mahasamprokshanam
Devotees will be permitted to have darshan of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy after completion of the Mahasamprokshanam rituals.
Temple Deputy EO Smt. A. Prashanthi, AEO Sri Ravi, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthaiah, Temple Inspector Sri Eshwar Reddy and temple priests participated in the rituals.
