Tirupati, May 1, 2026: The Golden Chariot (Bangaru Teru) Procession of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru was held with great religious fervour on Friday morning as part of the annual Vasanthotsavams at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Tiruchanoor.
Seated majestically on the beautifully decorated Golden Chariot, the Goddess blessed thousands of devotees amid continuous chants of "Govinda... Govinda..." and a deeply devotional atmosphere.
Procession Through Four Mada Streets
Following the completion of Vedic rituals inside the temple, the Utsava Murti was taken in a grand procession on the Golden Chariot through the four Mada Streets surrounding the temple.
The spectacular procession drew large crowds of devotees who gathered to witness the divine event.
Women Devotees Pull the Golden Chariot
One of the most inspiring moments of the procession was the enthusiastic participation of women devotees, who reverentially pulled the Golden Chariot while offering Karpura Harathi and chanting the Lord's holy names.
