Tirupati, July 29, 2026: The monthly Pournami Garuda Seva was celebrated with immense devotion and spiritual grandeur at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Tirupati, on Wednesday evening.
As part of the traditional monthly observance, Sri Govindaraja Swamy was taken in a magnificent procession on Garuda Vahanam, the divine vehicle of Lord Vishnu, through the four Mada Streets surrounding the temple between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Thousands of devotees gathered along the procession route to witness the sacred event and seek the divine blessings of the Lord.
Spiritual Significance of Garuda Seva
Garuda, the celestial vehicle of Lord Maha Vishnu, symbolizes unwavering devotion, strength, courage, and complete surrender to the Almighty.
Participating in or witnessing the Pournami Garuda Seva is considered highly auspicious and is believed to bestow divine grace, prosperity, spiritual progress, and protection from obstacles.
