Tirumala, August 4, 2026: In view of the annual Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams, scheduled to be held at Tirumala from September 15 to 23, 2026, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the cancellation of select Arjitha Sevas during the nine-day festival.
The decision has been taken in view of the extensive religious rituals and arrangements associated with the annual Brahmotsavams.
Arjitha Sevas Cancelled
TTD has cancelled the following five Arjitha Sevas during the Brahmotsavam period:
- Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva
- Tiruppavada Seva
- Arjita Kalyanotsavam
- Unjal Seva
- Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva
Devotees planning their Tirumala pilgrimage during the festival period are requested to take note of these changes while making their travel and darshan plans.
Special Darshan Categories Also Cancelled
Along with the Arjitha Sevas, TTD has also announced that special darshan facilities for certain categories of devotees will remain cancelled throughout the Brahmotsavam period.
The cancelled special darshan categories include:
- Senior Citizens
- Physically Handicapped devotees
- Parents with Infants
- NRIs
- Donors
These arrangements will remain in effect during the September 15–23 Brahmotsavams.
TTD Appeals for Devotees' Cooperation
TTD has requested devotees to take note of the changes and extend their cooperation during the annual Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams.
As the festival attracts large numbers of devotees to Tirumala, pilgrims are advised to plan their visit after taking the revised Seva and Darshan arrangements into consideration.
