Tirupati, July 31, 2026: TTD Joint Executive Officer Dr. A. Sharath has directed all departments to function in complete coordination to ensure devotees receive smooth, safe and comfortable services during the upcoming Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams, Navaratri Brahmotsavams, and Peratasi Saturdays.
Chairing a comprehensive review meeting at the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Friday, the JEO instructed every department to complete all arrangements well in advance considering the expected surge in pilgrim arrivals.
Traffic and Parking Management
To effectively manage the anticipated heavy rush of devotees, Dr. Sharath directed officials to:
- 🚗 Identify adequate parking spaces in and around Tirupati.
- 🚦 Establish dedicated holding points to regulate vehicle movement and crowd flow.
- 👮 Ensure systematic traffic management during festival days.
Improved Pilgrim Amenities
The JEO instructed officials to strengthen essential facilities by providing:
- 🚻 Additional mobile toilets.
- 💧 Safe drinking water at parking and holding areas.
- 🧹 High standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
These measures aim to provide a comfortable experience for devotees waiting for transportation or temple entry.
Better Guidance Through Digital Information
To help pilgrims navigate easily during the festivals, TTD will install:
- 🏵️ Welcome arches.
- 📢 Informative flex banners.
- 📱 QR code-enabled signboards at major junctions and important locations for quick access to festival information and pilgrim services.
Decorative Lighting Across Tirupati
Engineering officials were instructed to decorate:
- 🛕 Temples.
- 🏢 Major TTD buildings.
- 🛣️ Important roads.
with special illumination to create a vibrant devotional atmosphere throughout the festival period.
Additional Help Desks for Devotees
Under the supervision of the TTD Public Relations Department, extra pilgrim help desks will be established at:
- 🚆 Tirupati Railway Station
- 🚌 RTC Bus Stand
- 🚍 Alipiri Bus Stand
- 🥾 Alipiri Footpath
- 🏨 Vishnu Nivasam
- 🏨 Srinivasam
TTD will also widely publicise the devotional and cultural programmes scheduled at Mahathi Kalakshetram, Ramachandra Pushkarini, and the Annamacharya Project venues.
More Srivari Sevaks to Assist Pilgrims
The JEO instructed TTD Chief Public Relations Officer Dr. T. Ravi to deploy additional Srivari Sevaks at key locations so devotees receive timely guidance and assistance throughout the festival season.
Emphasising the expected increase in pilgrim footfall, Dr. Sharath urged all engineering and allied departments to work as a unified team and provide the highest standards of service.
