Tirumala, August 16, 2026: Devotees will have a double opportunity to witness Garuda Seva at Tirumala this month, with Garuda Vahana Sevas scheduled on August 17 and August 28.
Garuda Panchami Garuda Seva on August 17
On the occasion of Garuda Panchami, Garuda Vahana Seva will be observed at Tirumala on Monday, August 17.
Sri Malayappa Swamy will take a celestial procession on His favourite Garuda Vahanam along the four Mada streets from 7 PM to 9 PM and bless the devotees.
Sravana Pournami Garuda Seva on August 28
Sravana Pournami will be observed at Tirumala on August 28.
On this occasion, Sri Malayappa Swamy will bless devotees by taking a grand procession on His favourite Garuda Vahanam from 7 PM to 9 PM.
Trial-Run Garuda Seva on August 28
The annual Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams will be held at Tirumala from September 15 to 23.
As per tradition, TTD conducts a Trial Run Garuda Seva every year ahead of the annual Brahmotsavams. This year, the trial run will also be conducted on August 28, on the same day as the Sravana Pournami Garuda Seva.
On the occasion, TTD senior officials will inspect facilities and engineering arrangements along the four Mada streets to ensure necessary preparations for the annual Brahmotsavams scheduled next month.
