Tirupati, July 15, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) honoured 147 outstanding students from its educational institutions with the prestigious Pratibha Puraskaram–2026 at a grand ceremony held at Mahathi Kalakshetram.
Presenting the awards, TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu said TTD is giving the highest priority to education and healthcare while remaining committed to the holistic development of students.
"Education Creates the Nation's Future"
The Chairman stated that, under the guidance of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, TTD is strengthening the education and healthcare sectors.
He noted that nearly 20,000 students are studying in 33 TTD educational institutions, where modern infrastructure, quality education and value-based learning are being provided.
He encouraged students to achieve success through discipline, dedication, hard work and moral values.
"Education is the Greatest Wealth"
TTD Executive Officer Sri Muddada Ravichandra described education as the greatest wealth that no one can take away.
He urged students, particularly those from rural and farming families, to make the best use of the educational opportunities offered by TTD.
He added that TTD institutions are being upgraded on par with leading corporate institutions by providing:
- Qualified faculty
- Digital infrastructure
- Nutritious meals
- Modern teaching methods
- Student-centric learning
Historic Initiative in TTD's 150-Year Journey
TTD Joint Executive Officer Dr. A. Sharath said the presentation of Pratibha Puraskaram is a historic milestone in the 150-year history of TTD.
He revealed that educational institutions are being modernized with an investment of ₹162 crore, including:
- Smart classrooms
- Computer laboratories
- CCTV surveillance
- Improved campus infrastructure
He also highlighted the promotion of Yoga, Music, Dance and Moral Education in collaboration with reputed educational institutions.
147 Students Honoured
The awardees included:
- 🎓 76 Intermediate students from SV Junior College and Sri Padmavathi Women's Junior College
- 🏫 71 students from various TTD schools in Tirupati and Tirumala
Three students from Sri Padmavathi Women's Junior College — Pranavi, Utpala and Nehashree — were specially felicitated for securing 99% marks at the State level.
Each student received:
- 🥈 5-gram Silver Dollar
- 🏅 Memento
- 🧣 Shawl
- 📜 Certificate of Appreciation
The students also took a pledge to respect their teachers, remain disciplined and strive for excellence.
TTD Board Members, senior officials, principals, teachers and parents attended the ceremony.
