Tirupati, July 25, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has suspended an employee, P. Giri, who was working as an Assistant Sharoff at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Kurukshetra, Haryana.
The suspension follows the findings of a TTD Vigilance inquiry.
Vigilance Inquiry Findings
According to the vigilance investigation, the employee allegedly collected money from devotees in the name of TTD by offering services such as:
- Annadanam
- Kalyanotsavam
- Vahana Sevas
The inquiry concluded that these collections were made improperly, leading to disciplinary proceedings.
Suspension Ordered
Based on the vigilance findings, TTD placed the employee under suspension as part of its disciplinary action.
TTD reiterated its commitment to maintaining transparency, accountability, and protecting devotees from unauthorized collections made in the name of the institution.
